Entrepreneur of the Week: Conquering Imposter Syndrome to becoming a global transformation coach

We always believe that starting a business starts from a place of know it all, a lot of capital, and certainty that the future will be without challenges. But, the tale of Rebeka Teshome, shows us a story of conquering fears, starting with passion, and eventually footprints as an author with a vision for global transformation.

Madame Rebeka Teshome started her first business very young and consequently has been a four-time serial entrepreneur ensuing what speaks to her soul. Not without taunts, but she made lemonade through her frustrations. Perhaps that she learns a lot, so she teaches with the same measure, and has been able to turn this passion into profits, is also indeed a great blessing. Overcoming impostor syndrome through internal work has made her get away from the girl that used to shy away when opportunities knocked on her door, losing a lot of opportunities, to becoming a great woman of influence, inspiring women across the globe.

Four years ago, she started her journey in coaching to empower women who faced similar limitations, or women who want to take their game a notch higher. This became clearer when she conceived her first child, she would see the need. She encountered loneliness, the need for connection, the desire for clarity of purpose, and saw the importance of receiving support at this time. When she conquered this through support of others, she wanted to do the same for other women. Once in a while, everybody needs the voices that pushes you to greatness, as all of us have needed this almost daily.

Today, Madame Rebeka Teshome is the Founder: Transformation Coach Academy. She is a Certified Coach Trainer, Personal development coach, counselor and Author. She defines herself a wife, mother of two, Entrepreneur, and a people-person who loves meeting new people and learning about their lives and their backgrounds. Her strength is that she finds common ground with strangers, and loves making people feel comfortable in her presence and that they feel supported. She says, this has been such a helpful skill in her work with her clients, she enjoys enhancing the quality of living in the people she interacts with daily.

She says, “One of the reasons that I love my business is I help others in getting clarity on their life's goals and work toward achieving them.”. This is what counts for her achievement when seeing her clients achieve their goals and seeing them joyful. It makes her keep up and rise up each day to keep seeing this. Publishing her book, Glow, which is a guide on how one can maximize their potential and the opportunities around, also becomes one of her great successes and achievement. She knows that this will be one way to empower and encourage people to find their glow all around the world.

She truly becomes a testimony of starting with passion and love for humanity. She says, her only investment initially was going back to school in the coaching and counseling area and marketing. Today, her vision is grand, to build a global transformation coaching superpower that brings together the very best coaches in the world. With her faith and pace, it is only a matter of time before she touches the hearts of the world with her wisdom.

To fellow entrepreneurs, she says, “An entrepreneurial mindset can be developed and enhanced through entrepreneurial experiences. And to cultivate the entrepreneurial mindset, we must create entrepreneurial learning experiences within our classrooms, organizations, and communities.”. That is a call to us as entrepreneurs to make the steps, and learn as you go, and a call to the community to teach this trade, as the world is definitely in dire need of many like Rebeka Teshome.
