#DEMYSTIFYINGENTREPRENEURSHIP 24 FINDING OPPORTUNITY ELSEWHERE/HOME

Still on professional gallivanting . I get a call. "We have see your work on You-tube, we'd like to meet you". Its the CEO, and I am over the top about it.

I call my entire village. Y'all, I am en route the coast. I am so elated that I am saying goodbye to full time boredom in to a bright future. Remember, I have many projects ongoing, but at the moment were beginning to feel dead beat. And as they say always, "missing an opportunity is like missing a branch". So I am excited to go start a "new life".

Mimi nani, I announce to everybody Mombasa is calling. Forget about the Catering and Events and the new office I had been given with the best view ever, and I am like, this will have to be done in Mombasa, by the beach. You bet, the was no such thing .

There was something greater. Waking up in the morning everyday for something you believe in. Being part of something bigger than yourself. Meeting amazing people. And it was thrilling!
I wasn't my own boss, but I was part of a system that was creating something big. That in itself was satisfactory.

I would have to start to adjust to live in a new city, which biologically is my home town, but had only worked there for one month sometime back. Now I was stuff. I realized the beauty of home, you are always welcome.

It was sooooo amazing. I think I never got past the fact that I was on holiday mode even though it was work. And as my father would put, going to a smaller town would make one a big fish in a small pond. I would even grow professionally. Being in a small station you could become anything and anyone. We didn't earn much, but we faced hunger together. That's what made it precious. Together . And when we had, it was all of ours . It was totally the "new life, new me" #Entrepreneurship
