I always found it hard to be in a choir, for I always wanted to sing the loudest. I found it hard to be an extra, because surely, I wondered why am I not the star, please. So I have been in and out of groups, seeking my spotlight. Hence, entrepreneurship, he he he, you get to declare self whatever you want.  You can sing off key and be the lead singer.

But it wasn’t until 2017 did I meet my first real break. To be part of creating something amazing.  I would sit down on a chair extremely humble. Unbelieving of the beauty of people to come together. For the first time surrendering my personal good for our good, at the expense of my shine.

To watch people come in full from all parts of the country devoted to create. Pull their resources, make time, dress up, show up for a vision bigger than our pockets. To create something timeless many years to come, that not money can pay. A labor of love. An ultimate mmiracle in the form of people.

Imagine your own power. Then now imagine the power of 10. 1000% right. Great things happen not because of individuals, but because of people.  When you are honest enough to let each other win, not take advantage humanities will, or take for granted effort. Realizing you are in a table of equals enough to respect. You would be able to create timeless magic out of love.

When I realized nothing great happens without teams. I endeavoured to create many Dream Teams making dreams happen. It was in the people who would wake up daily to see each other succeed, and reach great heights. Though slowly, they were sure they would reach some destination some time, as long as there was clarity, honesty, and the desire put our away self interest for the good of ALL. When you can finally say, this is not mine, this is ours <3 without painful reservation. For even from my life I have observed even the greatest actor could not make a play by herself, she needed co-stars to shine. So even as an extra, I was vital.

I have come to believe, great teams make dreams. And will always be appreciative of the many teams, even those that backfired.
